STSK Intro Pistol Class

The STSK Intro Pistol Class is the same as the STSK Before I Buy – Pistol Class™ but it teaches you with your own handgun. If you own a handgun and do not have any experience or very little experience shooting it this is the course for you. An STSK instructor will teach you safe and proper pistol handling using the STSK Intro to Pistol class. This course starts with a classroom session and teaches firearm safety, how ammunition and your handgun work, and the basics of pistol shooting including stance, grip, sight picture and much more. An instructor will teach you with your own handgun how to safely and properly use your handgun. You will learn NRA’s rules for safe gun handling, pistol parts and operation, ammunition, shooting fundamentals, range rules, plus what you will learn at the range. Upon completion of the class you will receive the STSK Intro to Pistol Handbook and a course completion certificate.

Expect this course to take 4 – 5 hours.

Requirements: Bring your legally owned handgun with owners manual,  at least 2 magazines, an OWB (Outside the Waistband) holster, any other accessories you have purchased, about 100 rounds of ammo, eye and hearing protection. Please wear comfortable clothing and dress for the weather. No open-toed shoes. Minimum age 8 years old. We require a parent or guardian to be with children ages 8 – 17.

Price: The price is $300.00 for a private session. If you bring a friend or relative the price drops to $200.00 each.

This course is taught by an insured STSK certified handgun instructor.
