We want to teach you safe gun ownership and how to keep you and your loved ones safe from crime. We can also introduce you to competitive shooting sports. Participating in shooting sports is a great way for you to improve your shooting skills.

Safety Through Superior Knowledge offers courses to help keep our students from becoming victims of crime. Our main focus is on firearms safety and training.   Not all of our courses are about self-defense. We offer firearms courses for people who want to know how to safely and properly use a firearm, whether it be at the range or with one of the many shooting sports available.  Currently, our firearms courses cover Pistols, Rifles and Shotguns.

 We offer exceptional courses for people just starting out. For those who do not currently own a pistol, but want to learn before they buy, the STSK Before I Buy – Pistol Course™ will save you time and money. We have heard stories over the years of people who truly bought the wrong firearm and all of that money just sits in a closet, not to mention the ammunition that was used to figure out it was not the correct firearm.

We also offer courses for the person who has already purchased a firearm, but is not comfortable with it. If you have had a firearm sitting in your home for weeks or years and you just do not feel comfortable with it, consider one of our beginner courses.

Our classes are taught by certified and down-to-earth instructors that will not talk down to you or intimidate you.  We are there with you every step of the way.  With proper training and care you can enjoy all that gun ownership has to offer, both for fun and for protection.
